A young girl has been flown to hospital after a collision in Preston.
Emergency services closed off Henderson Street, near the junction with Eldon Street, in the Plungington area.

A girl, aged four, was treated at the scene after being hit by a car.
The incident took place shortly after 5pm on Friday (19 October).
The car involved is understood to be a Ford and the driver stopped at the scene.
North West Air Ambulance landed in Moor Park and paramedics airlifted the girl to Alder Hey Hospital for treatment.

The extent of her injuries are not known at this stage but Blog Preston understands she has a broken leg.
Preston Police said there have been no arrests.
The collision follows a boy being hit by a car just off Plungington Road on Wednesday last week. He was not seriously injured.
