Preston’s Georgian Square was bouncing with some very modern sounds during Friday evening.
BLOCK, a performance by Motionhouse and NoFit State Circus, lit up Winckley Square.
It was the opening performance of the Lancashire Encounter Festival.
The Encounter is three days of events across Winckley Square, the Harris and other venues in the city.

A stage was set up for Block in the Square and more than 200 people watched the performers brave some gusty conditions to create their own giant jenga tower.
The acrobatic eye-catching show is back again on Saturday (22 September) at 1pm and 4.30pm.
