RBS to close Bamber Bridge branch

Another branch of RBS will be closing in the Preston area.

The bank has announced it will be closing its Bamber Bridge by early 2019.

Royal Bank of Scotland say only 100 customers re using the branch on a regular basis.

The Bamber Bridge branch is one of dozens across the UK the company is choosing to close.

It’s the second round of closures for RBS this year with Fulwood (Lytham Rd), Penwortham, Leyland and Garstang all closing in 2018.

The Bamber Bridge bank has a closure date set of 29 January 2019.

The nearest branches for Bamber Bridge will be Leyland (2.9 miles) and Preston (3.37 miles).
