Police hunt for man in connection with Preston assault

Police have appealing to trace a 26-year-old man wanted in connection with threats made to a woman in the city.

Shane Beevers has links to Deepdale, Ribbleton and Preston city centre.

Update: Police say Mr Beevers presented himself at Preston Police Station during Thursday morning and has now been charged with assault

Preston Police say they want to speak to him about assault, harassment and threats to a woman.

He is described as 6′, with short dark hair, brown eyes and a proportionate build.

Sergeant Scott Archer of Preston Police said: “We really need to speak to Shane Beevers. If you have seen him or know where he might be, please pass this information on to us.

“Shane, if you are reading this – get in touch.”
