Thousands of sci-fan fans flocked to Preston during Saturday for what’s becoming one of the city’s biggest annual events.

Preston Guild Hall played host to the annual Preston Comic Con.

Stars of sci-fi screens both big and small were there to meet fans.

The Comic Con sees many people get dressed up as their favourite superheroes and other sci-fi characters during the day.

Paul Melling was there to see stormtroopers and plenty more parading around the venue and in the streets outside.

The event saw sci-fan characters mingling with the Preston Pride event on the Flag Market to create a great carnival atmosphere.
