What was Macs bar in Preston city centre is becoming a new sports bar.
Ballers is from the team behind Switch nightclub and is going to be an American themed bar with one of the largest LED video walls in the city.
More than 30 screens will be littered around the bar in the Friargate.
Previously Placebo, which closed in March, and before that Macs, and Mood before that, the bar opens from Wednesday (19 September).
Darren Ofsarnie, Haydn Price and Francis Falodun say they have spent the last 12 months ‘extensively researching’ American sports bars for inspiration.

An extensive American menu is planned with sliders, quesadillas, Mac and Cheese wings, Kansas City Ribs, Kentucky Chilli and more.
Sports due to be shown include Premier League football, American football, rugby, car and motor racing.
Entertainment planned include live karaoke on a Thursday night and a smart phone quiz on a Tuesday evening.

Ballers is being operated by the Besides Friends Group who run Roller World, Wacky World, Switch and Myst nightclubs among other businesses.
