A Preston city centre restaurant has relaunched just months after a name change.
Palm Court, located in Guildhall Street, was previously known as A Mano.
Operator Chris Maughan said a new menu and culinary style was needed to attract more mid-week visitors.
A Mano had taken on the space in April from Preston institution Tiggis which shut down last year, but Mr Maughan said it was time for something different.
He said: “Unless a restaurant is able to be busy during the week it is hard to survive, even if you have really busy weekend.
“That’s why you’re seeing many restaurants close not just in the city but elsewhere.”

Palm Court is offering a menu with traditional staples such as fish and chips, the Palm Court chicken burger and also vegeterian options such as a spiced falafel burger.
Chris, who runs the popular Theatre Street Bar and Grill, said: “With Palm Court we’ll be aiming to have Preston’s best value for money for a set menu.
“Nearly every customer wants that available these days seven-days-a-week and we’ll also be offering a fantastic a la carte menu with seasonal and fresh dishes from around the world.”
Sunday lunches have a kids-eat-free offer and Palm Court will also be serving afternoon tea.
