Police have arrested two people following an appeal to find two missing girls.
A four-year-old girl and a three-month-old baby girl were last seen getting into a dark coloured Vauxhall Corsa in St Anne’s Street, Deepdale, on Friday (7 September) afternoon.
Preston Police issued an urgent appeal to trace them, and their parents, due to a concern for welfare.
Both the girls were found safe and well at an address in Blackpool during Saturday afternoon.
A 30-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of child neglect.
A police spokesman said: “We would like to thank both the public and the media for their help in finding the children safe and well. Your support is greatly appreciated.”
The children are currently in care with Lancashire County Council.
