Love Island winners Jack Fincham and Dani Dyer took centre stage during a student shopping event in the city.

The pair, who shot to fame on the ITV reality show, met 10 winners of a meet-and-greet competition and posed for pictures with students.

Student Cameron Riley won a £1,000 prize and was presented with the cheque by Jack and Dani on stage during the event in the St George’s Shopping Centre.

The Student Sessions saw the shopping centre open late on Tuesday (25 September) for special offers and shopping for students at the University of Central Lancashire and those at further education colleges across Preston and beyond.

St George’s Shopping Centre manager Andrew Stringer said: “Our annual student event is always highly anticipated not only by the local students, but also the centre team and our retailers as well.

“It’s amazing to offer a fun night for everyone with huge discounts and it’s even more special when the event is truly a success.”
