Three days of performances, workshops and an array of different and surprising events take over Preston for the return of Lancashire Encounter.
The biennial festival sees a variety of venues hosting different events and arts groups.
It culminates in the Red Dream Parade through the city on Sunday (23 September).
Our live updates below will keep you abreast of what’s happening in the city during an action-packed programme.
Encounter starts from 6pm on Friday (21 September) and takes place throughout Saturday and Sunday.
