A new coffee shop has opened in Preston city centre.
Part of the Box Market within Preston Market it’s been a long-time coming for Jonah’s Coffee.
They were one of the first to sign up for the Box Market but have delayed opening as they continue to build their mobile coffee business.
Now they have a permanent presence in the city and the man behind it is Adam Jonah.
The 23-year-old from Penwortham speaking during their opening day at the Lancashire Encounter festival said: “Today’s the first day we’ve been open. I’ve always wanted to open a business and I wanted one where I could chat and build relationships with people.
“We started going to festivals with a portable car and making speciality coffee and make people smile. Two years down the line and here we are.
“I’m looking forward to it and providing the best coffee, building relationships. We want a presence here and love meeting people.
“I’m really excited, I’ve always had a soft spot for Preston, it’s a privilege to be here and be part of the community. My brother Luke Gardner, 26, is working with me and loads of close friends are helping out.”
