A leisure centre in Preston has been broken into during the early hours of Wednesday (19 September) morning.
AdvertisementFulwood Leisure Centre was targeted by thieves and money taken from a safe.
Preston Police said a window had been smashed to gain entry around 5.15am at the Black Bull Lane premises.
Vending machines were damaged and cash boxes also broken into with more money taken.
Blog Preston has contacted Greenwich Leisure Limited, who operate the leisure centre, for further information.

It is understood the leisure centre is open as normal.
