Preston is seeing the stirrings of Storm Ali as it sweeps through.

Trees have fallen in Ashton-on-Ribble and gusts of more than 50mph are being reported.

The Met Office doesn’t currently have any weather warnings in place for Preston and South Ribble.

Bray Street, off Water Lane, is blocked by the fallen tree.

Trees have also come down in Ashton Park on the Blackpool Road side.
