Biker hurt in A59 crash in Penwortham

Police have been at the scene of a crash after a motorcyclist lost control in Penwortham.

Shortly after 8am on Sunday (16 September) police were called to Liverpool Road.

The rider had been coming down the A59 towards Preston city centre.

Police said no other vehicles were involved in the crash and the road has not been closed.

The biker has minor injuries and has been attended to by paramedics.
