A CCTV picture has been released of a man in a car police want to speak to in connection with the Winter Hill moorland fire.
Lancashire Police have released the picture and they want to speak to the passenger in the car.
The black Peugeot, registration MC16 ZNV, was seen around the Rivington area when the first began on Thursday 28 June.
It burned for more than 40 days and saw hundreds of firefighters tackle the fire to contain it.
Detective Constable Lunt of Chorley CID said: “This is a complex investigation and we are still working hard to find out how this fire started.
“If you recognise the man in the passenger seat or have any information which could help with our inquiries, please get in touch.”

Police said the driver of the car had already been spoken to as part of the police investigation.
