Emergency services are treating one person after a crash at a busy Preston junction.
A BMW and an Audi were involved in the collision at crossroads of North Road, Aqueduct Street and St George’s Road.
The crash near the Moor Park pub has seen Preston Police and the North West Ambulance Service at the scene near the Moor Park pub.
One man, the driver of the darker blue BMW, is unhurt.
A family in the Audi are attending to a casualty in the back of the vehicle, which is understood to be an Eagle Cars taxi.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service have been called to cut one person free from the taxi.
A spokesman for the fire service said: “Two fire engines from Bamber Bridge and Preston were called to a road traffic collision involving two vehicles at the junction of Garstang Road and St Georges Road in Preston. Firefighters rescued one casualty from a vehicle and they were then taken to hospital by paramedics.”
The crash took place around 7.15pm on Wednesday (8 August).
The injuries of the person within the taxi are unknown at this stage.
