Your opportunity to take part in a community film has arrived.
As part of Lancashire Encounter Festival, the community film “Show us what you love about Lancashire” has been funded.
It’s an opportunity for local people to reveal what they love about the county by sending in photos or video clips.
Research Associate for Media Practice at UCLan, Amy Dean, is organising the project. She said: “The more people submit the better really. I will also be going out around Lancashire to film people too to capture thoughts. I do not want technology to be a barrier.”

Within the videos, you must introduce yourself and then proceed to share what you love about Lancashire.
If selected, your submission will be shown in the film which will be shown as part of the Lancashire Encounter Festival in September at the Harris Museum.
You can submit anything that has a connection to Lancashire, such as you cycling the Guild Wheel, working with colleagues or friends, visiting Preston parks or just someone who loves Lancashire cheese.

You will need to provide your name, location in Lancashire, email address and contact number within the email, as part of the submission process.
Any content you submit for the film automatically gives your permission for its use and that you waiver any rights to the content as part of your submission for the community film.
