David said: “I’m delighted to have won the Driver of the Year award. Delivering pizza can sometimes be a challenge, especially in harsh weather conditions like snow and ice! But handing over delicious pizzas to the people of Preston is rewarding and I love seeing the smile on people faces when they open their door to me.”
His manager, Emran Patel, picked up manager of the year.
Emran took over the Blackpool Road branch of Domino’s in January 2016.
Emran said: “I’m thrilled to have won the Manager of the Year award, it is such a respected achievement within the company and I am honoured to have been selected this year. Domino’s is a fun, exciting place to work filled with so many like-minded, ambitious people and I couldn’t have won this without my team. That’s my strength, my team.”
