Work on finishing restoration work to Preston Bus Station’s car park ramps is to take up to a week longer than planned.

The northern ramps into the grade-II listed building were closed from Monday (13 August) and now Lancashire County Council say they need more time.

They were due to reopen on Monday (20 August) but the county council says poor weather conditions have hampered the work.

Work was ongoing on coating the car park ramps near the Holiday Inn.
