Police warn public not to approach Preston rough sleeper

Police have released a picture of a man wanted on prison recall they believe is sleeping rough in the city.

Lee Wilson has failed to attend probation appointments.

The 39-year-old is said to have links to Ashton-on-Ribble, Lea, Larches and Preston city centre.

Wilson is 6’1″, medium build, with light brown hair and blue eyes.

Police are urging anyone who knows Wilson’s whereabouts not to approach him but instead to contact police immediately.

Sergeant Scott Archer said: “Wilson is wanted by police on prison recall.

“He is likely to be sleeping rough, possibly on canal tow paths or in parks.

“He can be violent if approached. If you see him, or know where he is, please call police.”
