Another driver has struggled to navigate the road layout in Fishergate.

The raised section of road where one of the Fishergate Bollards stood has seen a Mini driver stuck on it.

The white car has attracted a crowd to try and help it off the plinth.

The incident during Friday rush hour caused delays back down Fishergate and Corporation Street.

It’s the second time this week the structure has been hit, after a rail replacement bus struck the bollard – a cousin of the main Fishergate bollard – during Monday evening.

Fishergate Bollard itself remains missing in action as Lancashire County Council have not yet replaced it.
