Man hurt in taxi crash in Fishergate

There’s been major disruption in Fishergate throughout Wednesday afternoon following a crash.

Preston Police confirmed a taxi and a pedestrian had been involved in a collision within the Shared Space area near Marks and Spencers.

The man was taken to Royal Preston Hospital by ambulance, it is not known his condition at present.

The crash took place around 2.10pm on Wednesday (15 August).

Pictures showed buses queuing back down Fishergate and Church Street following the collision.

Delays were cleared by 3pm.
