Motorists travelling on the M6 Southbound will see delays today following a major crash.
AdvertisementTraffic remains stopped between Junctions 33 and 32 southbound heading towards Preston.
Three lanes were closed following a collision, with one vehicle being set on fire.
Emergency services are at the scene working to tackle the blaze.
A spokesman for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said three fire engines from Lancater, Garstang and Fulwood attended the crash around 1pm on Sunday.
Two cars were involved and one fire was alight when fire crews arrived at the scene.
They said the fire was put out and no major injuries were reported.

Two lanes have re-opened past the scene of the collision,however, motorists can expect delays of up to an hour with approximately seven miles of queuing traffic.
One lane will remain closed late into this evening as Highways England repair part of the road surface that was damaged during the incident.
A spokesperson for Highways England North West said: “Traffic remains stopped on the #M6 southbound between J33 and J32 #Lancaster following a collision and vehicle fire. Emergency services are working to tackle the blaze. Delays building, crews working hard at scene.”
