Finishing touches to the Preston Bus Station car park mean two of its ramps need to be closed.

Lancashire County Council is shutting the northern entry and exit ramps to the car park.

The ramps, close to the Holiday Inn, will close from Monday (13 August) to Monday 20 August.

Southern ramps, by Lords Walk, will remain open throughout.

The county council say the coating on the car park ramps needs some finishing touches and this can’t be done while the ramps are in use.

A multi-million pound redevelopment of the grade-II listed Bus Station was completed in July with the building officially reopened fully to the public.
