Pedestrians and bus passengers are being warned to take care around one of the city’s main bus stops.

Panes of glass have been smashed at the bus stop by Preston Railway Station in Fishergate.

The new look bus stops, which were installed in the first phase of the Fishergate work in 2014, have been smashed up by yobs overnight into Thursday (23 August).

Ashley Weir sent in this picture to Blog Preston and said he had reported the damage to Lancashire County Council.

The bus stop is due to be cordoned off and the glass swept up and then replaced in the coming weeks.
