Ingol has been affected by a recent power cut earlier today (Tuesday 21 August).

Electricity North West were then forced to remove power supplies to over 80 customers in order to investigate the fault.

It is expected that the power will be restored by 3.30pm.
A spokesperson for Electricity North West said: “A cable fault caused the loss of power to 42 customers in Ingol, Preston at 7.30am this morning.
“Engineers arrived onsite and had to remove power supplies to a further 80 customers around 1.30pm to allow them to investigate further. Engineers are continuing to work onsite and we hope to have the majority of customers back on around 3.30pm this afternoon.

Electricity North West wrote on Twitter: “We’ve had to remove supplies in the #Ingol area for safety reasons. Teams are estimating to restore the #power for 3.30pm.”
