Yellow taxis pull up at the entrance and a man in black, actor Donnie Yen, can be seen moving around the set.
An extra on the set snapped the 54-year-old Hong Kong actor, martial artist and director in action.
It’s the second scene of the film to be shot in Preston city centre.
Lancaster Road was the back-drop for another scene outside Preston Guild Hall.
The film also features Jackie Chan but he’s understood not to be filming any scenes in Preston.
Directed by Wilson Yip it is the fourth installment of the IP Man films.
