A collision between a car and a stationary vehicle has taken place on Watling Street Road.
Located near Fulwood Barracks, two people have been involved in the crash which occurred on Tuesday (24 July) around 12pm.
One patient was taken to Royal Preston Hospital and the other took themselves to hospital.

Preston Police were made aware of the incident by the North West Ambulance Service just after midday.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: “We were called by the ambulance service at around 12:35 hours today to reports of a collision involving a car and a stationary vehicle on Watling Street Road, Preston. There’s no mention of road closures on the log and not much more information at this stage.”

A spokesperson for North West Ambulance Service said: ” The collision involved two vehicles. Two patients were involved. One took themselves to hospital and one was taken to Royal Preston Hospital.”
Preston Bus Service 6 has been temporarily diverted. A spokesperson for Preston Bus said: “Following an accident at Fulwood Barracks service 6 is temporarily diverted via Blackpool Road, Holme Slack, Ronaldsway and Cromwell Road. Stops outside Sainsbury’s, and on Watling Street Road between Sir Tom Finney Way and Cromwell Road will not be served. The 6 will return to normal route as soon as possible. In the meantime apologies for any inconvenience, and thank you for your patience.”
