Tributes are being paid to a motorcyclist who died following a collision in Leyland.Advertisement
A Mini and a Suzuki motorbike collided on Tuesday 26 June around 8.40pm.
The motorcyclist, David Ashton, 49, from Leyland, was taken to hospital but sadly died a short time later.

The collision took place on Dunkirk Lane near to the junction of Orchards.
In a tribute, Mr Ashton’s family said: “We are all shocked and devastated by the loss of our Brother in such tragic circumstances.
“David was the most caring, fun loving and happy man and always had a smile on his face. His passion was riding his motorbike.
“We are a close family and will pull together, and the support and kind words from family and many friends is testament to how much he was loved by all.
“There is now a void that can never be filled.
“Ride high with the Angels Bro, and give Mum and Dad a kiss from us all.”
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Sgt Lee Harris from the Road Policing Unit said: “Firstly my thoughts are with the motorcyclist’s family at this incredibly sad and difficult time.
“They are being supported by specially trained officers. If you saw anything that you think could assist with our investigation, please get in touch with us.”
