The Gruffalo is coming to Preston city centre

The Gruffalo will be paying a visit to St George’s Shopping Centre as part of the mall’s summer Literacy Fest.


The popular mythical monster will be making his personal appearance on Saturday 28 July.

Children will have the chance to meet and greet The Gruffalo at intervals throughout the day.

Free story telling sessions will be taking place between 11am and 4pm, for children to sit in and listen to.

There will also be a free book drive and pop-up library on the mall. The centre is accepting book donations through the library or the book box on the lower level near Ocean’s Fish and Chips.
