Preston’s junior parkrun is marking its second anniversary on Sunday.
Taking place every Sunday the free 2km run is open to four to 14-year-olds.
More than 40 young runners take part in Avenham Park.
Volunteer Ian Scott said: “Over the last two years the junior parkrunners have run 8,008km, and 951 runners have improved on their times to create personal bests.”
