Relaxation is coming to the streets of Preston with a brand new massage parlour that has recently opened its doors.

Alicia Hardicker, 25, is half Thai and is behind the venture.

Having already launched Thai street food restaurant, A Taste of Thailand, she wanted to continue bringing a taste of her own heritage to Preston.
Located at 47 Friargate, Sawasdee offers a range of treatments including Thai foot massages and Thai Steam herbal massages along with beauty treatments, manicures and pedicures.
Alicia Hardicker, 25, said: “I am 25-years-old, half Thai and loved the idea of bringing a bit of my heritage to Preston starting with a Thai street food restaurant and now Sawasdee.
“We have a recently renovated the property which is on two floors on the ground floor we have fitted numerous treatment rooms creating a calming tranquil environment.
“At Sawasdee we offer a range of treatments, our clients can relax with one of our Thai foot massages or totally unwind with a Thai Steam herbal massage which contains twelve different herbs combined with warm oil using which promotes deep relaxation while detoxifying and releasing tensions.
“All our staff are professionally trained.”
The second floor of Sawasdee is currently being renovated which will feature larger treatment rooms.
Alicia continued: “When the second floor is completed we will be offering couples massages.
“We are looking forward to be offering gift vouchers and packages which will include a choice of relaxing treatments finished off with a meal at our Thai restaurant what better way to complete a true Thai experience.”
Sawasdee is open seven days a week from 10am – 11pm.
