A pensioner who has gone missing from his home in Ashton-on-Ribble is a ‘keen walker’.
AdvertisementPreston Police made an urgent appeal to find 72-year-old John Culshaw after his disappearance in the early hours of Saturday (30 June).
Now his family have told Blog Preston they fear John may have covered some distance since going missing.
John’s brother David has released a picture of John during one of their walking trips.
Police are continuing to search for John who was last seen near The Ferns, off Roebuck Street shortly after midnight on Saturday.

John is white, 5’8″, slim and has short grey hair.
He was wearing a blue sweater, blue Craghoppers trousers and wearing glasses when last seen.
A spokesman for the police on Saturday said: “We are concerned for John’s welfare – if you have seen him, please contact us immediately.
“Furthermore, I would urge John, if he sees this appeal, to contact us to let us know he is safe.”
