A family-run kitchen business has taken on new premises in Preston city centre.

The former Reed employment agency offices, with a view overlooking the Fishergate bollard, will be Kutchenhaus Preston.

It’s a family affair as father-and-son duo Peter and Chris Davies are leading the firm.

Chris’ wife Karen is running marketing and promotions, Thomas (Peter’s son) is doing sales and Peter’s wife Gill is keeping the books.

Peter said: “We’ve invested a large capital sum on lease premises, kitchen furniture, applicants and more.

“We hope to employ local sales and design staff during the next six to nine months.”

Kutchenhaus opens on Saturday (28 July).
