A Penwortham man has been jailed after stabbing a Preston man in the chest.
23-year-old Jordan Disley pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of Wayne Dodgson.
Disley, of Marl Croft, Penwortham, was jailed for six years and four months by Preston Crown Court.
He was arrested on February 27 after 29-year-old Dodgson was found with stab wounds at Disley’s house in Marl Croft.
Mr Dodgson went to Royal Preston Hospital for treatment but died on the evening of Monday 5 March.

Preston Police initially charged Disley with wounding and then murder.
But he put in a plea of manslaughter at a hearing at Preston Crown Court and this was accepted by the judge.
Detective Chief Inspector Geoff Hurst said: “Jordan Disley is a violent man whose brutal assault on Mr Dodgson left a family devastated. His actions were savage and callous.
“While the exact circumstances of the evening are unknown, it is believed the pair got into an argument, with Disley reacting by stabbing Mr Dodgson in the chest. This injury was to prove fatal, with Mr Dodgson dying several days later.
“This has been an unbearably difficult time for Mr Dodgson’s family and I hope this sentence brings some sense of justice for them.
“They, as well as Mr Dodgson, remain in our thoughts.”
