An indoor roller-skating centre is coming to Preston.

What was a jeans storage unit off New Hall Lane is being given a new lease of life.

Roller World is opening in Campbell Street, close to the current Wacky World premises, on Friday (27 July).

Manager Shane Robinson said: “We are very much looking forward to the launch of Roller World.

“The reaction from our social media has been amazing and we are certain that this new venture will be a massive success and a great addition to the Preston leisure scene.”

The doors open and skates can be put on from 2pm on Friday.

Around 20 jobs are being created through the opening of Roller World.

You need to be five-years-old and over to skate and on Friday and Saturday evenings they are running Roller Discos.
