Guided walks are taking place around Winckley Square in August, with the chance to glimpse inside some of the grand houses located there.

Organised by the Friends of Winckley Square, the tours explore the rich architectural heritage of Preston’s only Georgian square, as well as the hidden histories of former residents.

There is also the opportunity to visit the Inside Out Exhibition at St Wilfrid’s Church, which is displaying photographs of the original features inside eight Winckley Square properties.

The walks are happening on Wednesday 1 August and Sunday 19 August. They start in the centre of the Square at 2pm.
