A Bamber Bridge firm says it ‘may need a second print run’ due to the success of its Preston-themed mugs.

Preston Inanimate Object takes the tweeting adventures of the likes of the Fishergate Bollard, Penwortham pylon and the red phone boxes and plasters them onto a cup.

It’s all to raise money for charity and the mugs – priced £3 each (or two for a fiver) – are hoped to raise hundreds of pounds for Galloways Society for the Blind and the Rosemere Cancer Foundation.

They mark the ‘magnificent seven’ Twitter accounts of @Prestonphonebox, @Fishergatebllrd, @Lostock_Henge, @PylonPenwortham, @PR1Thermometer, @LeylandTank and @Swingbridge 2 who all offer their pithy insights into life in the city.
