Plungington Road is closed off due to a sewer repair.

United Utilities have crews on site for the emergency roadworks.

He said: “Service 23 is diverting via Fylde Road, Brook Street and Blackpool Road, outbound and inbound, until further notice.

“During the closure Adelphi Street, and Plungington Road between Aqueduct Street and Blackpool Road will not be served.”

The work is needed to stop sewage flooding out of the broken sewer which is near Ripon Street.
