An application by Petromex Forecourt Services has been submitted to Preston City Council’s planning department to change the use of the site from a petrol station into a retail site.
It previously had an approval for the demolition of the existing site and the construction of a new retail unit.
If plans go ahead, the new site will include an extension to the existing building, a new driveway and a crossing.

Parking will be created including 19 parking spaces with electric charging points, along with two disabled-access spaces and a child-friendly space.
Developments will also include the removal of canopies and below ground fuel tanks.
