Two teachers from Penwortham have penned what they hope will become the latest England World Cup classic.

With the Three Lions through to the quarter finals and preparing to face Sweden this cheeky ditty might be belted out on the terraces.

Penwortham and South Ribble feature across the video with DJ Danny and G seen celebrating England victories with family and friends.

A statement from the pair said: “Only a few weeks before the World Cup began I started to write an England Chorus with initial help from Brian Martin on Guitar. I wanted a few lyrics so the kids could sing along to at all the DJ events we run.

“Inspired by my experiences on Talksport the idea developed and my good mate G came on board full time to back up the track with some inspirational lyrics and hooks, followed by Grhymz who I knew would hopefully provide the negative vibes and dynamite lyrics for the track.

“Also big thanks to Razorawks & Rinsky for some pretty special producing! This is “Sir Bobby” we are 2nHalf Lions.”
