Fast food delivery app UberEats has confirmed it is coming to Preston.
AdvertisementMcDonalds is one of the first of the restaurant chains operating in the city to support UberEats ordering.
UberEats allows customers to order from many of their favourite high street restaurant chains but enjoy it in their own home.
McDonalds delivery service will be available to anyone within one and a half miles of their Friargate, Riversway, Capitol Centre, Deepdale, Fishergate and Asda Fulwood outlets.

Franchise owner for Preston Nigel Dunnington said: “My restaurant teams and I are delighted to be introducing the McDelivery service, offering yet another level of convenience to our loyal, local customers. Delivery is something that our customers often ask about so it’s exciting that we’re now able to provide our freshly made, great tasting food in a way that suits their busy lives.”
McDonalds said it offers its menu on UberEats from 8am to 12midnight seven-days-a-week.
General manager for UberEats UK Toussaint Wattinne said: “We’re really excited to be launching Uber Eats with McDelivery this month. People can now get great food at the touch of a button delivered straight to their home or office. We have partnered with thousands of restaurants across the UK and we’re delighted to be expanding further.”
UberEats is launching in Preston on Tuesday (12 June).

– Pick a delivery location
– Search for the restaurant you want delivery from and check they cover your area
– Place your order, and the charge goes to the card stored on your account
– Follow the progress of your delivery live with the app
