A group of friends from Preston have took on an immense challenge by cycling coast to coast in a day.
Pedaling 150 miles from east to west, Steve Wareing organised the challenge for him and six friends Rob Hamilton, Steven Spall, Rob Talbot, Peter Mallett, Paul Mallett and Steve Sanderson.
Raising money for CancerHelp, the lads took part with the hope of raising £5k.

Exceeding their target, the group how now raised over £12k.
Taking place on Saturday 2 June, the friends completed the cycle within 12 hours, finishing at Glasson dock.
Steve Wareing organised the cycle challenge for his wife, Joanne Smith Wareing, who is recovering from cancer.
Joanna Smith Wareing, from Longridge, said:
“All the lads took part for their own personal reasons but my husband arranged this as I am recovering from lymphoma.
“They have been training really hard for months and faced many challenges but we are so proud of them for their achievement!
“We also arranged a big home coming as they cycled up Berry lane in Longridge where they were greeted and welcomed by many from the Town.”
A huge raffle was held to help boost funds with amazing prizes donated by local shops, raising an additional £2700.
