A group of friends from a Preston gym are taking on the ultimate crossfit challenge to help raise valuable funds for charity.
Crossfit 24-hour WOD-athon is helping to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Colette Fuller will be joined by friends Patrick Heaton, Oliver Mills, Grant Dillon, Jordan Thompson, James McDonagh, Jonathan Haggerty, Ryan O’Reilly, Natalie Dowbekin, Hannah Deuchars, Bethany Towers and Craig Bolton at Crossfit Spectrum, on North Road.

Taking place on Friday 29 June from 6pm, there will be a ‘Work Out of the Day’ (WOD) happening on the hour each hour.
Everyone is welcome to join in the event and complete any number of WOD’s, with a minimum contribution of £5.
There will be scaled options available for the workouts and the event will be suitable for all fitness levels.
Along with the crossfit event, the group of friends with be competing at Battle Cancer in Manchester on Saturday 4 August to continue the fundraising effort.
Colette Fuller said: “We are really excited for the event but we might regret it making this decision at 4am. We hope to get a good turn out, we have invited friends, family and anyone that wants to pop in and give us their support.
“We will need all the support possible, as it will be a really tough challenge especially in the heat. Getting a good turn out and boosting our fundraising will make all the difference.
“So anything anyone can do to help to keep us motivated and keep going will be amazing and really appreciate.
“We will be looking forward to completing it and getting a beer at the end!”
