Hundreds of women braved the damp conditions in Moor Park to get mucky for charity.

Mud slides, space hoppers and obstacle courses were all conquered in the Race for Life’s Pretty Muddy event.

Dressed mainly in pink the women and children took on the event in the first of two races this weekend for Cancer Research UK.

On Sunday (17 June) the Race for Life 5k will take place but it’s muddier cousin was first up.

The mud slide attracted whoops of delight and plenty of squelching as hundreds conquered it and raised tens of thousands of pounds towards finding a cure for cancer and helping those fighting it.

See if you can spot yourself, or your friends and family, in the pictures below.

And well done to everyone who took on the course!

If we didn’t spot you then you might be in Michael Porter’s pictures on Facebook.
