A new addition to the Summer Saturdays programme on Preston’s Flag Market has been confirmed.
AdvertisementPreston Pulse is a community celebration day with fun, food and laughter planned.
Performances on the day are planned from The Potters House theatre performance and Spectrum Carnival dance troupe.
Food comes from the Sisters4Sisters group providing halal food and the Ablaze youth group providing creative activities.
A pop up living room is also being set up on the steps of the Harris, to let you enjoy the sunshine and watch the world go by.

Preston City Council’s cabinet member for communities and social justice councillor Nweeda Khan said: “It is lovely to see such a vibrant event that brings together those in the community, the last two years the event has been well received and I am looking forward to seeing what this year brings”

A total of 30 stalls and 31 different acts will be taking part in the day.
The free event is on Saturday 28 July from 10.30am to 4pm on the Flag Market.
