Smoke billows near Blackpool Road from shed fire

A shed fire sent smoke billowing near two main roads in Preston on Wednesday (27 June) afternoon.
The fire in Ainslie Road, close to the junction of Plungington Road and Blackpool Road, Plungington, spread to a nearby house.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service sent a crew from Preston to the scene shortly after 2pm.
The shed fire was put out and firefighters say the cause remains under investigation.

There has been some damage to the house but the extent is not known at this stage.
