A Preston man is to appear on Britain’s Got Talent’s final on Sunday (3 June) evening after being made Simon Cowell’s ‘wildcard’.
B Positive, which Ronald Clarke is part of, reached the semi-finals of the hit ITV show – but lost out.
Now the media mogul has brought the choir, which is the official choir of the NHS Blood Donation and Transplant Services, back into the competition.
Mr Clarke, who is a volunteer youth worker at the Grimshaw Community Centre, said performing on the show had spread the message loud and wide about blood donation.
He said: “I’ll continue to sing with B Positive and do all I can to support the NHS Blood and Transplant service in the future.
“Since our performance on the MOBO Awards last year, we’ve been told the NHS has received thousands of new registrations from people wanting to become blood donors. I’m extremely proud of helping to do that’
“We still need more people to give blood. Everyone who can should find out where their nearest clinic is and help to save lives.”
