Firefighters are continuing to monitor the situation on Rivington Pike after a moorland fire.
Acres of land has been burnt by the fire across Rivington Moor.
Smoke still hangs across Winter Hill and Rivington from the fire which started shortly before 5pm on Monday (25 June).
Seven crews were sent to the incident, including crews from Bamber Bridge, Leyland and Darwen.
As of 6pm on Tuesday (26 June) one fire crews are remaining at the scene to monitor the charred remains of the moorland.

Drone pictures released by the fire service give a sense of the scale of the fire.
Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service’s crews are also involved in trying to stop the moorland fire at Saddleworth Moor, which is raging in the hills above Greater Manchester.
