Road closures for the city’s annual Preston Caribbean Carnival have been confirmed.
Preston City Council has announced the parade route for the event which starts and ends in Moor Park.
The following roads are being closed off either in full or in part throughout Sunday 10 June.
The closures are between 11.30am and 3pm, some roads may reopen sooner depending on how long the procession takes.

Moor Park Avenue – its full length
Deepdale Road – from Moor Park Avenue to Meadow Street
Meadow Street – from Deepdale Road to St. Paul’s Road
St. Paul’s Road – from Meadow Street to Sedgewick Street
Sedgewick Street – its full length
North Road – from Sedgewick Street to Garstang Road
Garstang Road – from North Road to Moor Park Avenue

The following roads become two-way for the duration of the procession:
Ripon Street
Havelock Street
Derwentwater Place
Kenmure Place
Holstein Street
St Stephen’s Road
Meadow Street
